OLDE MAIDS, INC. was established in 2003. Conservation, recycling, gardening, fresh air and sunshine are a large part of the way owners Nancy Boutin and Marsha Hartley both live. It was an easy transition from daily living to their creation of healthy, safe, non-toxic house cleaning products. Nancy and Marsha had cleaned homes together for a long time and quality housekeeping was important them. After many years of working with harsh, mass produced commercial cleaners, after years of sore throats, wheezing, coughing, dry hands and watery eyes they had a vision. It was their vision and now has become their passion and reality to provide environmentally safe, quality household cleaning products. Through trial and error the OLDE MAIDS learned that mainstream cleaning products are not always the best option.
Nancy and Marsha are both lifelong residents of Rochester, Massachusetts. They have been friends ever since they can remember, have worked together for over twenty years, and have affectionately been called Lucy and Ethel.
